E-Rkive Rescue
	A free tool that reverses messages archived with E-Rkive which allows you to return them to MS Outlook in their original state.

E-Rkive Rescue is a tool that allows you to reverse the archiving process performed by E-Rkive entirely. E-Rkive Rescue is what you need for the following situations...

• You no longer wish to use E-Rkive and want to return all your messages back into .pst files
• You have archived messages into the incorrect archive and need to move them to another archive
• You wish to be able to archive the same message more than once

There are 3 stages:

Stage 1 - Decompress messages and save as .msg format files

When messages are archived, they are saved as individual files in subfolders of the folder where your EmailArchive.dat file is located. If you have removed your archived messages from MS Outlook®, you will need to run this stage. This stage will decompress the messages and save them as .msg files.

NOTE: If your messages are already in MS Outlook®, then you can skip to Stage 3.

Stage 2 - Move your .msg messages back into Outlook

Windows allows you to "drag and drop" multiple messages from Microsoft Explorer® directly into Microsoft Outlook®. This task needs to be performed manaully. This section explains exactly how to do this.

Stage 3 - Remove the archive flag from the messages

Once you have dragged and dropped your messages from Explorer back into Outlook, you can run this stage to remove the archive flag from each message that prevents them from being archived a second time. This effectively returns your messages back to their original status!

NOTE: If your messages had archiving information added to the body of the message when they were originally archived, this information will remain with the message.
